Fall is upon us in Texas and here comes the rain!  I secretly hope for the cold temps to move in so that our family can enjoy fires, hot cocoa and fleece...BUT, seeing as it is 78 degrees today, I don't see fire weather in the near future.  Luckily designers are beginning to remember us "Southern Girls" when they create their fall lines.  I found this fun plaid shirt at Target a few weeks ago and was super excited to get it home and match it with my favorite, red, boyfriend jeans.  Though the shirt looks like a plaid button-up, its actually a sheer, 3-quarter sleeve tunic. LOVE.

First official post! and Halloween shenanigans

  I've been pondering what to write about for several weeks now and finally decided to just dive in.  Seeing as it is October 28th, and Halloween is Thursday, Halloween seemed fitting.

It has been 5+ years since "The Fraz" (this is how I lovingly refer to my husband) and I have been to a Halloween Party.  I was obsessing over what our costumes should be and if they were "relevant" to the current year when Fraz decided we would dress as "Breaking Bad."  Of course his costume was a no-brain er, while mine was a bit more complicated.  All in all, the costumes turned out great, and we had a great time sans kiddos. Thank you to my in-laws for watching the munchkins!

Thursday, we will leave the Breaking Bad costumes at home, and make rounds with the kiddos as plain ole' mom and dad.  Daughter 1 will be our Ariel princess and Daughter two will sport the same bumble bee costume that her sister did when she was one.  Looking forward to a fun evening.
